1993, High Fight International (fondé en 1987), pionnier de la nouvelle génération de sound system français composé de Polino, TipTop, Féfé Typical, Daddy Nuttea, Don Lickshot et Tonton David, s'arrête suite au départ de ce dernier.

Polino, TipTop et Daddy Nuttea rejoignent alors le collectif Ghetto Youth de Rud Lion, Don Lascar et Franky (organisateurs du fameux clash entre Nuttea et Daddy Yod) et fondent le Ghetto Youth Sound  avec Meelaz, Mr Lézard et Miss Souani.
Fin 93 Ghetto Youth prend une autre direction musicale, moins reggae, ce qui motive nos compères à fonder à nouveau un sound system dans l'esprit du High Fight.

D'autres artistes passionnés rejoignent l'aventure : en décembre 1993 a lieu le premier Standtall Sound System c'est un énorme succès le public explose de joie, motivant encore plus toute l'équipe.
Le sound se compose alors de : TipTop, Polino, Féfé Typical (Moodirow), Nuttea, Mc Janik, Daddy Mory, Dixie Culture, Jah Mike et Brother Jimmy.
Les soirées continuent, et le ‘'professionnalisme'' de l'équipe ne tarde pas à se répandre.
Le slogan sur les tracts « arrivez tôt, repartez tard » rappelle au public qu'il n'y a rien à rater !
Standtall devient ainsi la « dream team » des sounds français.

Par la suite des artistes et selectors sont passés completer ou débuter leurs carrieres au sein du sound (Lord Kossity, terror Seb, Bart(Sunkom), Casa, Dalton, N Bee, Full style,... )

Véritables passionnés, le noyau dur du Sound continue son rôle : la promotion du Reggae, et le soutien d'artistes francophones, multipliant les dates, en France, en Suisse, en Belgique, en Martinique, en Guadeloupe, à l'île de la  Réunion en Allemagne, au Portugal et en Italie.

Fin des années 90 suite au succès grandissant des artistes du dancehall, (qui ont signés en Major ou montés des labels indépendants) la pluspart des sound systems se réduisant alors au Selector et au Mc, Standtall non plus, n'échappe pas à cette nouvelle tendance. 

Mais, fidèle à son esprit du début, le Stand Tall s'entoure d'une nouvelle génération d'artistes comme Mr Face, Mad Killah et Lee Vayah B, rejoint par le "jeune vétéran"Daddy Mory(de retour à la "maison") et Apach autrement dit la « Showsky Family »

Septembre 2006 sortie du single "menteurs" avec la showsky Family et Mr Lezard sur le label STANDTALL Music, disponible également sur la compilation "Frenchy Ragga Dancehall'' (Wagram).

1993, High Fight International (founded in 1987), pioneer of rising generation of French  sound system composed of Polino, TipTop, Féfé Typical, Daddy Nuttea, Don Lickshot and Tonton David, stops following the departure of this last. 

Polino, TipTop and Daddy Nuttea join then the collective Ghetto Youth of Rud Lion, Don Lascar and Franky (organizers of the famous clash between Nuttea and Daddy Yod) and melt the Ghetto Youth Sound with Meelaz, Mr. Lézard and Miss Souani.  At the end of 93 Ghetto Youth takes another musical direction, less reggae, which motivates our accomplices to found again a sound system in the spirit of High Fight.

Other impassioned artists join the adventure:  in December 1993 takes place first Standtall Sound System it is an enormous success the public explodes of joy, motivating even more all the team.  The sound is composed then of:  TipTop, Polino, Féfé Typical (Moodirow), Nuttea, Mc Janik, Daddy Mory, Dixie Culture, Jah Mike and Brother Jimmy.  The evenings continue, and ' ' professionalism '' of the team is not long in being spread.  The slogan on the leaflets "arrive early, set out again late" recalls to the public that there is nothing to miss!  Standtall becomes  the "DREAM TEAM" of the French sounds.  The most of the French reggae dancehall artists passed at least once ' ' between the hands '' of the sound, or the StandTall studio. 

End of the Nineties following succés growing of the artists of the dancehall, (who signed as a Major company or went up independent labels) the most of the sound systems reduisant itself then in Selector and the Mc, Standtall either, does not escape this new tendency. 

True impassioned, the heart of Sound continues its mission:  the promotion of Reggae music, and the support of French speaking artists, multiplying the dates, in France, in Switzerland, in Belgium, in Martinique, in Guadeloupe, in Reunion island,  in Germany, Portugal and in Italy.

From September 2001 to July 2004 they supplement their missions on Radio Generations 88.2 FM For a weekly show of 2 hours with Mad Killah, Mr. Face and Leevayah B at the microphone.

September 2006 the title “menteurs” with the Showsky Family and Mr. Lezard on label STANDTALL Music, also available on compilation “Frenchy Ragga Dancehall '' (Wagram).
